The new VX Deluxe arrives in 2016 with exciting new upgrades. Already benefiting from a complete hull and deck resign in 2015, the new VX Deluxe now features an all new power plant, the TR-1 engine. This new three cylinder motor delivers increased power to the VX Deluxe while significantly reducing overall weight. The improvement to the power to weight ratio delivers a more exciting ride and exceptional fuel economy.

VX Deluxe comes standard with innovative RiDE technology, a unique dual throttle control system that makes manoeuvring off the trailer and around the dock incredibly easy. RiDE also offers additional control when decelerating. Yamaha’s Cruise Assist makes traveling long distances or towing much more comfortable and convenient by allowing the rider to set the perfect cruising or towing speed.

A wide NanoXcel hull and deck with dynamic lines, chrome accents and a sleek profile completes the premium look.

RiDE - Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics

The world's first dual throttle handlebar control system. RiDE is easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release the levers for neutral. Pull them both, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control. Operation is simple with no manual shifting, no gears and no complicated processes. Benefits include enhanced handling and smooth deceleration.

New VX Hull and Deck

Under the water line is one of the best handling hulls Yamaha has ever designed. Featuring a cutting-edge design with a deeper V-shape Keel, modified hull strakes and softer bow chines; this all-new hull delivers excellent stability for three-up riding and towing, and precise responsiveness and predictability for thrilling one-up riding. The VX Deluxe is manufactured using NanoXcel for a lighter more agile hull.

1,049cc TR-1 High Output Marine Engine

With a combination of the ultra-smooth power development, low noise, low fuel consumption and low emissions, the VX is everything today's customers and society ask for in a PWC. It measures 40% smaller thanks to the elimination of the reduction gear, an integrated oil tank, the compact ECU, and an air filter attached to the motor. The 73 kg, 1049cc engine produces 14% more horsepower than the engine it replaces, yet it's 20% lighter in weight. The result is quicker acceleration, higher top end speeds, with better fuel economy and more fun for the rider.

Remote Transmitter

With the ability to control both Low RPM Mode and Security Mode, the remote transmitter can be used to increase fuel efficiency, limit the topspeed or disable the ignition to prevent unauthorised startups.

Tow Hook

Providing yet another opportunity to enjoy the water, the tow hook allows for easy, secure towing.

Multifunction Information Centre

The specially designed meter provides a wide range of information in a clear, easy-to-read format. The tachometer keeps the rider informed about engine RPM, speed and gear selection, while fuel gauge and hour readouts keep track of the running time available. Warning functions are also integrated – so peace of mind comes as standard on all VX models.

Extended Rear Platform

Roomy and comfortable, the extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all.

Metallic Paint Finish

Due to Yamaha's exclusive manufacturing process using NanoXcel materials, engineers are able to complete the package with a stunning metallic paint finish.

NanoXcel Hull and Deck

Yamaha's NanoXcel ultra-lightweight, high strength material reduces the weight of the hull, deck and liner by 25% and provides performance gains in acceleration, fuel savings, top speed and handling. Additionally, the NanoXcel material offers a shinier, gem-like finish which reduces surface tension on the water, providing a more nimble, responsive ride.

Under-Seat storage

Additional watertight storage under the rear seat protects items from water, as well as bringing the combined storage capacity of the VX Deluxe to a total of 93.2 Litres.

Two-Piece Deluxe Seat

Large enough to seat 3 persons comfortably, the VX Deluxe inherits a similar two-tone, two piece, double stitched design, previously only seen on the flagship FX models. Separation of the front and rear sections makes maintenance and access to under-seat storage easy.

More Storage

Complete with a glove box, under-seat storage-bucket and an easily accessed forward storage compartment, the VX series caters for a class-leading 93.2 litres of storage capacity, make stowing all the day’s necessities supremely convenient.

Compact and streamline, the new integrated mirrors aid in visual awareness, safety and that trademark, edgy Yamaha style.
